Do you dig out crawl spaces?
Yes we do crawl space excavations for those interested in adding to the square footage of useable space in their homes. Due to the complex nature of this work and the time involved, the price generally ranges from $100-150 per square foot. The cost depends on the amount of dirt needing excavation, the age of the home, the structural work needed, and several other factors.
How much does it cost to finish a basement?
We create custom basement designs to suit the unique needs and desires of each homeowner. Therefore we cannot give cost estimates without first visiting your basement and creating a free customized design for you. However, the average price per square foot of basement finishing is normally between $32-45. The price of finishing your basement is dependent on the size of the area to be finished, the materials and fixtures you select, and the upgrades you choose.

We are a true design and build contractor meaning we have an in-house design team that will create a custom design just for you and we will manage each part of the construction process. Your basement finishing project will have an assigned on-site project supervisor that ensures your project goes as smoothly as possible.

Yes, we offer a one-year warranty on all completed work.

How long does the basement finishing process take?
The average basement finish project takes 8-10 weeks. This depends on the complexity of the design, the features, and the size of the basement.
What value will I get from finishing my basement?
The value you will get from your basement finish is two-fold. Not only will it increase the value of your home but it will also expand the square footage of livable space. Further, it is space that you take an active role in designing! If you want more room for entertaining, we can design and build a home theatre, a wet bar, or a game room. If you want to accommodate out-of-town guests or a growing family, we can create a custom basement design with full bedrooms and baths.

Can you accommodate smaller budgets?
We are able to accommodate smaller budgets by doing partial basement finishing and finishing in stages. Partial basement finishes may include finishing just one part of your basement or it may mean accommodating the do-it-yourself homeowners who wish to do some of the work themselves. We can also work with homeowners who prefer to do their basement construction in stages as their finances allow.

How do you supervise your projects?
Each project has an assigned supervisor that oversees the entire construction process from beginning to end. This person is routinely on location to be sure your project is moving along as smoothly as possible. In addition, an office support team assists your project supervisor in any support activity they may need to keep your project progressing.
Do you handle permits? What about variances?
Yes, we will take care of submitting all necessary permits. The homeowner must submit variances, but we will help you with each step of the process.
